Bonnie Raitt is music and theatrical royalty
I love Ms. Raitt's music. She comes by it naturally. Her father was John Raitt who originated the male leading role of Billy Bigelow in "Carousel". He also did "Pajama Game" on Broadway and the movie version with Doris Day. I look forward to seeing Ms. Raitt and would not hesitate to recommend her show for entertainment for the whole family.
Fantastic
Bonnie Riatt is a extremely talented and gifted singer/songwriter/musician. Special thanks to her and her wonderful band for a wonderful evening!
Bonnie Raitt review
Bonnie came to the Rochester Jazz Festival in 2023 and she had a sold out performance. She was phenomenal! She hit every high note pitch perfect and on key. Well worth attending her concert
A Mass with Bonnie Raitt at the Chicago Theatre
The procession of Bonnie's band to the stage and her first note immediately lit up the crowd. Her liturgy of songs with roots in the 60's brought back to life an old testament that music moves seamlessly through time. Bonnie's skills on guitar and her powerful, seductive and sweet voice entered our souls on a beautiful summer night. Her familiar hymns we all knew and sang. Her homily to John Prine with Angel from Montgomery will long be remembered by all who absorbed the moment . And her covers of David Byre and Annie Lennox showcased her talent and generosity. Ricky, Hutch, Glenn, Duke and George were the pipe organs behind Bonnie throughout our holy night together. Go see Bonnie on this tour if you have get the chance.
Bonnie is the best
If you like the albums you will love the music live. Bonnie Raitt loves what she does and it shows from the moment she steps on stage. The set is tight and the setlist dips deep into her extensive catalog of music. Her voice is as good as ever and her playing world class. Seeing Bonnie Raitt in concert is a blast! The Chicago Theater is beautiful and has good acoustics. It is a nice venue.
Bonnie has lost nothing and gained much
I have seen raitt several times so I wasn't excited when I had two tickets and had to go alone. But as the show evolved I marveled at her performance at 74...she could have been 44. Loved the Prine tributes and others songs done in her own way. Wow..go see her while you can. She burned down the house!
